Expansion continues for Yorkshire eco innovator

LaRock Construction is known throughout Yorkshire for their innovative building techniques and problem solving ethos and striking design within the region.

At the end of 2009 the company boldly announced their commitment to include high specification green building techniques and design to their portfolio. A move which, 6 months later has escalated the business into a top gear position with new designer residences and innovative commercial schemes stacking up. Damian Lawrance MD comments ‘during a difficult climate we have hit on a viable route for expansion and growth – taking on more employees and expanding our workshops’.

To celebrate reaching target goals and to make public projects and schemes both in planning and development as well as completed stages LaRock have just revealed a new online platform which showcases results of their expansion and previews selected projects in the pipeline.

Lawrance comments ‘ The projects we are tasked to deliver for our clients are often specialist and exciting from super eco homes to green build schools as well as intricate bespoke joinery and ironwork solutions from our Yorkshire artisan unit. We are very proud to make public some of the schemes we are working on in a manner reflective of the ethos of our company.’

LaRock’s new online portfolio also will show the latest eco innovations for green build something extremely close to Lawrance’s heart and credited heavily for the success of the company.  Kate Morrell Marketing Manager of LaRock is keen to draw on the methodology and technical ability of the team ‘we actively seek to employ the most talented and inspirational workforce available to us in Yorkshire who we enable to work with the latest technology and method, furthering their education and prospects to world class level’.

The online portfolio also presents LaRock’s Yorkshire Artisan Unit a new addition to the company’s infrastructure.  Lawrance explains ‘we are well known for our super homes such as 1zero4 but we wanted to credit our skilled artisan craftsmen for their work often behind the scenes. Our bespoke joinery and ironwork harks back to a time when artisans in their trade were more prevalent. We are dedicated to preserving what some are calling a dying skill’.

Proving a strong and consistent approach is truly an agreeable route for the independently owned company the first part of 2010 regionally saw LaRock nominated for ‘best business’ award and saw their build and design creation of luxury aparthotel brand The Lawrance rewarded in the RICS awards 2010 with nomination in the highly acclaimed Leisure and Tourism award.
